Hello Well Seasoned. Just stumbled upon the topic of your gtg while reading another thread last night. I must have missed this thread when it went up originally. I tried to check out the link to rsvp, but it appears to be a link for a pass though wood cabinet, which by the way my wife and I found to be very cool! Still taking rsvps? I was thinking about taking the ride up from CT. Thanks.

Stuff I'm bringing to share and barter.....

For anyone that uses a smoker -
    apple wood
    hickory
    weeping cherry (ornamental)

    For barter -
    New maul - Chopper1 Axe

    Up for grabs -
Old rusted axe head. Not sure if it's worth anything to anyone.. Not to me.

Plus a few other things that Brian is aware of.

Food - Not sure how this all works, as I've never been to a gtg. But, I'd be willing to smoke up a couple of pork butts and reheat on site in a crock with some bbq sauce. I'd bring hot dog rolls for pulled-pork sandwiches.

I'd also bring a salad of some sort.

Is there to be some kind of a sign up sheet?

I'll show up with 10 pounds of red hot dogs to throw in those rolls. Most people outside of Maine don't know what a red hot dog is.

My brother lives in Ellsworth, and I am well aware of Jordan's red hot dogs. I like hot dogs, but the sight of them red ones.....not so sure. I'm sure they would be a subject of discussion. I'll be sure to bring extra rolls.

So the way things are looking now is that my wife has a commitment that Saturday. I think I will be able to attend and head up Saturday morning.

I'll know more in just a few weeks as we finalize. :dex:
