Who knows what could have happened, for all we know it was stored for a long time next to fertilizer or something at the store? I was buying $$ food from TSC, we don't have that store but if I ordered 2 bags shipping was free. It was white w light blue logo etc. Found out a local store could order it, that bag was white w light green logo, gal said they went to new packaging last year, it's almost $10 more per bag so went back to TSC, they shipped the same now going on over a year old food again, you could see it too, the fresher food was darker compared to the older food. Or, your bag could have been a bad batch (some of another kind of food and machine was not cleaned out properly and the different formula mixed in there doesn't agree with his intestines), Or, your dogs were unhappy because you left for vacation, or, or, endless possibilities. Glad you got some sleep and he's status quo for now.

He goes in waves. Sometimes you can tell he is just tired and sometimes you can tell he's got tummy issues. He did just drink a tiny amount of water. And he has been going #1 and#2. I have no idea how n he can go #1 with such little water over 24 hrs.

You know how to pull his scruff and look for capillary reflex on his gums? Just for a little assurance? Maybe take his temperature?

My father and his wife are so cute, they tickle me everytime I turn around. I just had a call from a restricted phone number, picked it up and vaguely recognized his voice in the background. Turns they got one of those google talking things and it heard him talking about me and thought he wanted it to call me  :rofl:  All by itself!!!

    No, I'll look that up.

He just went #2 again outside. Still loose. He is working that out of his system. He's also burping as normal after eating his food, which we put water on so he got more water.

I called Purina. There got all documentation. Says there were no known issues with this bag. They're sending me refund on this bag. They also said if he's not better by Monday to take him to the vet. That was the plan after this am anyways.

Sorry, that sounds misleading the way I typed it. 2 different things to check for dehydration (opposed to doing them both at once which my sentence kind of sounds like).

What were the dogs fed while you were gone? Is it possible they got into something while you two were away?????

Nothing wrong with over protective pops. My daughter is 13 no way she goes to a sleepover til I meet the parents and "check" the house. So WWW

They were on a different flavor of the same food. They rotate flavors all the time. No issues. No, highly unlikely that they got into anything.

Badger has since drank a bowl of water, did a couple more #1's and another #2 outside.

He gets very happy from time to time, and is breathing more normally. He's resting a lot. But he also still has times where you can tell he's in pain. It appears he's getting better, slowly.

Needless to say, I've done nothing but care for my dogs today. William is fine., Minus a little loose stool. Outside of that issue, you'd know nothing is wrong with him. Badger, is slower to recover.

Well, the craigslist posting for the Camry must've been someone fishing for e-mails....I haven't heard anything in reply.

The price was about what you would get for trade in value of the car and the pics were taken in someones driveway, so I thought it was alright to respond.

What happens when someone gets your e-mail?

The person has so many responses that they didn't bother but contact the first couple. Or, the CL generated email is going to their spam folder. Or if you just emailed, "do you still have this?", they thought it was someone looking to scam them. Or there are other reasons that they can't or don't respond. I wouldn't worry about it - never had any issue crop up because of emailing someone on CL and not getting a response.

I bet she's right yooperdave. And the small chance they are up to no good, worse they could do is annoy you having empty your spam folder.

The Denver news is covering the popularity of "tiny home" for the housing crisis. 400 square feet homes, stacked like condos in a parking garage like building. Starting at $400,000.

Ok Badger is much better this am. Still not 100% but he's eating and drinking normally. He probably tweaked his neck when his tummy hurt, so that's probably why he's tender/ sore. He's out of the woods now. He's a tough dog. I'm guessing he'll just get better as the week goes on.

Thanks for all the help and well wishes for him. Our dogs are like kids to us.

Does that include the toilet water removal and water/ electrical hookups?

So many forget about those things when attempting to live like this.
