I was on my way to a house where I picked up a load of ash last weekend to drop the trunk of the tree and bring it home when I drove by a guy putting a free wood sign in front of his house.

The sign wasn't out for more than 90 seconds and I was already backed up to the pile and grabbing my saw. Nice FULL truckload of ash. All I left was small limbs and a few short rounds I couldn't fit. I'll grab those tomorrow if they're still there. Squatting just a little lol. Might be time to pull the 300lb counterweight out of the receiver hitch. 20180421_125917.jpg

I'm guessing you didn't bounce around much on the way home.

You know, I surveyed what was left, then opened the passenger door, but with the gas can, oil, and saw related tool box in the front I said forget it.

I'm sitting at exactly 2 cords of ash CSS right now. Need about 2ish more for next winter. Amazing how much checking there is in the stuff that's been sitting for 2-3 weeks already

I soooo wanna say"that's a quitter's attitude", but seeing how full you had that vehicle, I just don't have the heart for it.

    Nice Picking.
