New "Deep Indigo Pearl" Wood Hauler

Well, you folks know that I'm often using my "car" for pulling my wood trailer as often as I'm using my tractor. It's nice to get out of the wind/cold for a break when winter cutting all day long, especially with those heated seats. With premium snow tires and 4 wheel drive, I can even out-pull my current tractor in deep snow!

I finally traded in my 12 year old trusty Toyota Highlander wood hauler on a new one. Here is one last photo of the old gal doing double duty out back!




And here is a photo of my new one! More ground clearance, more power, better off road traction too. Oh yeah ................. its got heated seats too, all wrapped up in deep indigo blue!!!

Where's the hitch?

Wife has one in Red 2014, that thing is amazing in snow!

 

You're gonna love it. I have a 2013 white with SAP and will be adding a hitch to mine soon.

 

Our new vehicle is an 01 highlander that looks just like yours . No way would I take it in the woods to haul wood, let alone the wife letting me take her car out like that!

 

We dint have those running boards though!!! Glad I dont like the looks of them.

 

I want an outback or forester for a commuter. 30+ moving and 4wd. Carry a hitch haul for deer hunting g on way home and not get stuck.

 

Great tune, but it won't play for me. Here is a link to another version (its just a lip-synched performance) as this tune was only rarely ever played live.

 

The factory hitch was the first thing I bought for it, worked it in on the original deal! Put a 2" ball on it to handle my wood trailer and boat! Yes that is a slightly used ball on my brand new (already dirty) car ............ for shame, for shame!

 

I have similar on my truck. Got tired of dealing with the crap 2nd gen Dodge Ram headlights.

 

Mine was a 2002 Limited, bought it with about 65K on it 4 years ago. I added 40K to that. The only time I ever used the running boards was to help tie down something on the roof rack! It was handy for that!

 

She will love it. Put a set of Blizzak or Lattitude X-Ice tires on it for her and she'll never look back for her old Ford!

Ours is an 01 limited. Everything but heated seats and AWD, which i didnt want, as its just something else to break and malfunction on a vehicle I knew we would have for years.

We got ours at the either 60 or 80k mark?? Had it about 5 years. Its been the trip car and wifes daily driver. Its bow sitting around 150k. But shes a stay at home with our new little one so it doesnt get more than 35 miles a week now usually.

 

Are you running "all seasons" on it or "dedicated snows" on it here in Ohio? Mine came with "Continental Pro Contact" touring/all season tires, but I'll probably pick up 4 more wheels for it and run dedicated snows. My family is all up in the greater "Buffalo" region and I'll visit up there during the winter.
