Made a couple of Porterhouse I picked up on sale for $6.99 a pound. Used Oakridge Carne Crosta rub. They were pretty good. Also put on some dogs for the grandkids.

Five days of curing and I put the bacon slabs in the smoker this afternoon. Maple syrup added in the cure and Applewood smoked. About a half hour left.
We had some bacon and eggs this morning and I didn’t take a pic. Right now just it’s rolled up in plastic wrap and foil in the refrigerator. Will take a pic when I take it out to cut up. As long as I remember to do it.

Have some chicken thighs on the grill with a Weber smoker box filled with cherry and apple chunks/chips. Throwing some burgers and dogs on as well. Man this weather sucks today, trying to make the best of it. Lol
