    Woke up to near freezing temps but it looks like it will be an awesome sunrise as it is just lightening up in the east. A few stars showing as well. Heading out for our walk. I don't think the dogs will want to come this morning. I think they are still under the covers in the bed.

    We hired him away from BMW after designing their i series lithium battery program.

    I was scrounging some roadside wood yesterday when an elderly woman from across the street approached me and asked if I wanted the trees in her yard that came down over the winter. Decent sized dead standing maple that snapped, and a few other small trees. :D

    Nice! Solves her problem. I got an offer from the mini-split boss, to drop some wood in my yard from his mom's tree. Some ornamental. I got some splitting time in, and pounded in some t-posts for a new stack.

    Yes, I'm OK. My husband's job gave him 3 days of bereavement time off, so we hung out and did odd jobs. I had a lot of phone calls to make, cancelling credit cards and stopping pension payments etc. I'm putting off emptying her room, I think I have until the end of the month

    Not sure.....apparently there's been a lot of fighting with him, but I can't speak as to why, or whether he or anyone else has actually done anything wrong. Sometimes families can be....interesting. it'd be nice if the family helps him out, but one news article said a volunteer organization has found him somewhere to stay for the present.

    the good thing is, mom's boyfriends 95 year old grandmother is no longer living there. That would have been scary if she was there.

    By the way, real sorry to hear about your mom........:( that's terrible.....
