-5° this morning on March 24th. Straight Ash is roaring in the gasification boiler. I don't remember it being this cold, this late in March before. If it has, it has been a long, long time.
-14.4 on the Radio Shack Special this morning. We had Cherry in the Liberty last night, we also burned one bag of pellets, that should be the norm until Wednesday or Thursday. I said to my wife this morning, 14.4 is warmer than they predicted she looked at me like I was crazy so I cleaned my glasses off, oh......that's -14.4 which made for a good chuckle at my expense.
March 19-24, 2012 in Southern NH... 79°, 81°, 81°, 84°, and 84°.... All record highs..... Too bad my time machine is broken!!
Burning straight Ash again. It was 5° this morning at 6:00. The sun has been out, and it was just snowing a little bit ago! Well, a little anyway. Thankfully nothing stuck. I do see some warmer temps on their way though.
- 4.5 this morning, just another day of burning some Cherry. It looks like we're out of this cold come Thursday.
12 on the back porch this morning. More straight Ash in these temps. Suppose to get to around zero tonight. Then start warming up!
It was 15 when I woke up, by the time the coffee was done it was 10, we're burning Cherry at the moment. I just looked at our forecast for tonight, -4 with a realfeel of -26, it's still Cherry weather.
Ya. I saw that. UGH! While I was out working in the woods today the wind started to pick up. I shut the pellet stove in the camp down to let it cool good. Cleaning soon and then firing it back up. Between the wind and temps that is going to be some cold ars chit tonight!
Eight degrees this A.M. heading to work. Last night, black locust in the stove. Tonight, black locust. Tomorrow night - you guessed it, black locust.
-7.1 this morning, we had a load of Cherry in the Liberty and we also burned one bag of Pellets last night. We had nice coals this morning so after my first cup of coffee I loaded it back up with Cherry.
30° on the back porch this morning and it was snowing when I came down and now it looks like it is mostly rain. Ash burning in the boiler.
Well I'm going to insert some good news into all these chilling posts. Started out at 38F this morning. We're up to 64 and I'm burning.....NOTHING.
