i was at work at this point but a saw woke my son up this morning. "chainsaw! daddy! tree down!! chainsaw!!! where dady?!? ringa-ding-ding-ding-ding!!!!!" wife (palm to forehead): "only your son would have the word 'chainsaw' in his vocabulary at two yeas old..." gotta love this kid!

they said i could, but they only marked tulip poplars to be cut. they will be hitting the oaks on my property after they finish that property, likely this fall or next spring so i will have plenty of mess to be cleaning up.
I gave my nephew a toy chainsaw for his first birthday last year. I guess he goes around "cutting" things, including people's legs and arms! It's a Husqvarna... at least they make decent TOY saws... Hahaha
Add another person to that list my 2 year old has a toy saw and my 5 year old has a hatchet. Yes he can only use it supervised.
"he can only use it supervised" … but, that's gonna take some of those "special moments" away from Mom…
I'm the supervisor on this one so she still gets those."dad I hit my leg a little." "Ok don't tell mom or she'll take it from you." Experience is sometimes the best teacher.
My daughter is two and has 3 saws... She has a severe case of CAD as well. She HAS to go downstairs and load the wood stove with me as well. She grabs me some pieces of "Baby Wood" (smaller splits). God bless them.. We are their Heros and we need to ensure it stays that way. Here is a few of hers. she is asleep. Otherwise I would have pic of her holding it.
