On the way home a couple weeks ago we came by a cow that had just dropped a calf, literally a couple minutes, he was laying there all wet and new to the world trying to lift his head and she was busy taking care of the afterbirth. Then last week we saw this brand new wild horse that was just born. He was a few hours older than the calf but was not standing yet, as well as evidenced by the momma's tail and legs, it was VERY recent. Very cool, the heard hung around by her for hours. Just came across the new Chevy 4500......that front end just screams f-650 to me. Saw the teaser of the 2020 2500 as well, at least some trims look to have dropped the bow tie in favor of writing Chevrolet across the grille. I had the thought, maybe everyone's going back to huge name brand script plastered over the truck, cause they're all starting to look the same again.

At least gm finally has a truck with a solid front axle again. See how these things sell.

Hey Gasifier and others that know horses? I'm still curious, on the Animal Cop shows they always have neglected horses with rotten feet and overgrown teeth and other medical problems. How do these horses out here get by with zero vet care?

Diet and the ground they walk on regarding feet and teeth. They probably don't have near the life expectancy into the wild either.

Suckerberg on Capitol Hill. It's like watching two people that speak different languages pretending to understand eachother. Hmmm.

Facebook - being on FB is like being one of the "cool" kids sitting at the "cool" kids lunch table in the mental hospital.

Facebook - where some people have to post all the drama in their lives, and then get pi$$ed off when other people comment about it.

One of those "Cow Chit" senators asking all the questions, should ask Suckerberg how many
$$$$$ he pocketed from selling everybody's privacy.......................

    There, rant over, I'm done......................

Weather guessers are saying, 55 Weds., 68 Thurs. and 72 Fri. No rain during the day. It is about time. I plan to hit it hard over the next couple of days.
I've spent to much time out in the elements before retiring. Now I am a fair weather fisherman, hunter and worker. Nuts to freezing my backside off.

    Facebook. Humble Brag city.

    :Thumbdown

The thing with Facebook is that anything you post , be it pictures, or words, is not yours anymore the second you post it. However, that was made obvious when you sign up for Facebook. So many people forget that important fact. So, knowing that, are you really surprised to find out that your data about you is sold???

Apparently people don't like to read the fine print, or have selective memories.

Whenever anyone says that they posted "their photo" on Facebook, I correct them and tell them that that picture is no longer their photo, but rather Facebook's photo.

Having raised sheep, cattle and a couple of horses, the hooves will wear down if not keep in a moist muddy environment. The wild horses are running over more rocky surfaces than your pasture horses. Teeth wise, I don't know but would suspect they wear down from eating woody plants. May be wrong here though.

I’m no horse expert. That is for sure. Farrier just came today to do their hoofs. I’d have to let my wife handle that one. As far as “horses out here” getting by with zero vet care. I guess your talking about wild horses out there? I would think because they take care of themselves better than some people take care of them. Just through instinct. Knowing where to go, what to eat, drinking plenty of water, and keeping moving into fresh grass and out of the mud. Tougher, shorter, life. But I bet most have a happy life. Free.:)
