I can't for the life of me find any cutoffs here. Anyone have any extra pieces laying around. I'm looking for 4"x40" & 4"-5"x 60" Ill pay for the pieces and shipping if anyone has any. Thanks!
I see. If it were me I would contact a commercial roofing company in my area and ask if they had any laying around I could get. Summer is when all the schools get re-roofed and you could do some dumpster diving and get all sorts of it. Another product I like to use is Grace brand ice and water shield, it's quite costly for a roll though. When I use it on a roof I don't usually remove the backing or it will stick down so bad you will never remove it without taking the sheeting off . GCP Applied Technologies 36 in. x 75 ft. (225 sq. ft.) Ice and Water Shield Roll Roofing Underlayment in Black-5003002 - The Home Depot Here's a couple places on line to order the EPDM. RV Rubber Roof EPDM - By The Foot Roofing or here BLACK EPDM Rubber Roofing Membrane, 45 mil, 10 ft. wide (per foot)
Lowes sells rubber floor pan rubber by the foot............. or I have a piece of EDPM left over from a job I can send you, I will double check the length tomorrow.
Thanks! Thanks, i checked Lowes, just the store though. If you have extra, great, is appreciate it, don't go to too much trouble though. Just hoping someone had some laying around for spare.
WWW is going to check in the shop tomorrow. Said he knows they have PVC'ish membrane and TPO to send and wonders if that would work for your coop? Seems like a long way to ship it but also mentioned they're normally sold in 100' rolls, which of course you do not need that much.
There's a roofing company on CL in Framingham Ma that is selling skids of random cuts of removed rubber roofing for $50
There is a excavation/demo/used building materials company in Tyrone Pa that sells used roofing rubber also. Scotty Overkill might be able to tell us how much they charge for it.
The last pieces I bought were 12' x 40' and they were around 60 bux each. Which I thought was a great deal. That's all I use to top cover my stacks..
Will be picking up some more this weekend. They are cut in ~5'x50' pieces and he gets $0.10/SF for them. It's all I use to top cover my stacks as well.
