jetjr, I have some counseling experience, and, having studied your original post, I FIND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU Now, that being said, I am in envy of your New Holland Tractor
If your gonna have a mid-life crisis, this is a good thing to have it with. We all know how 'other' mid-life crisis' goes....
Here it is. It was freaking cold out so I just snapped an inside pic. First new thing like that I've ever owned and it was a leftover so I got a good deal.
Nice ride Jet. I know what you mean about it being your first "thing like that" you've owned. When I bought my small JD tractor I discovered so many things I could do with… hydraulics. What a huge change it's made for me. It's been my muscle for lifting (and, it can't even come close to what you can lift) since 2002. I bore my bride to tears every time I use it saying, "gawd, I can't believe what that tractor can do"… she's so impressed… I call it my green and yellow Harley.
Well built and economical. The dealer bought mine from was almost two hours away but they had what I wanted and were great to do business with not like the one that's closer.
As it stands around 22-24 cords. I am going to modify my stove some and plan on new windows within a year or two. Maybe a new stove within those 3 years. Only been in the house 2 years burned about 6.5 cords last year and a little more than 8 this year.
Mid life crisis is when you take your current age, double it, and realize there ain't no way you'll ever live that long.
sounds about right. when i was 16 i figured the way i was heading i would never make 32. still just as crazy though.
That's a solid hoard You are up in the range where it pays to do some planning to ensure you don't have to move it any more than absolutely required. Also in the range where you should consider things like separating out stuff like Oak for extra dry time and a special stock for when its cold and blowing in January (or March in years like this one).
Yea I am moving wood now to build a woodshed for dry stuff and then a place to split and stack stuff that's drying etc...
