Ok, I usually start this every year so whats your winter tally you have burned, "so far"?
I realize many of you are still burning and I am too, but it has slowed only to the evenings.
I've just hit my 4-1/2 cord mark for the winter. I don't expect to burn "Maybe" a half of a face cord more. Usually, I'm completely done my mid April.
Anyway, Let's see where were all at... I'm right on the mark for an average winter.

    Dave:)

I'd say just over 3 cords. Just about as I expected.

Just took an approximate measurement of the empty spot in the stack. I say approximate because I have worked around some of the hickory and locust because I did not need the big guns so it can stay. 4.2 cords minus 1 cord I hauled to an old couple and what's left on the patio.
    *****
    We'll make it 3 cords + or - a face cord.....started with 26 stacked.

Did I mention how much I love this cat stove.

Also just rough guessed my processing pile plus what I have to haul home yet. 8 cords, really need to bless that old couple with more but their neighbor just logged and told them to have all they wanted....probably round up some help and have a cut and split get together for them.

Maybe around 2 1/2 to 3 cord, but we started running the pellet stove in January too...

Around 6 cord. Up from the normal 3 to 3 1/2 cords. Hopefully the 1/2 face cord I brought up the other day will get me through.

8 cord plus. Its a neverending winter with a crappy stove. Out of seasoned wood burning found pine at 20% moisture. :hair:

But have the new old jotul 118 in my living room just waiting for a warm day to switch the stoves out. Should see a huge reduction in wood usage. I hope

We’re at 1 cord ash, 1 cord locust, 2 cords pine, 1 face cord hard maple, and it looks like we’ll be finishing off another face cord of ash before it’s said and done. Plus another face cord of locust for the evaporator.

So that’s 5, and we’ve been averaging around 4 here, not counting the evaporator. Still have another 14 more stacked. I think I’m going to plan for an additional cord per year for the evaporator.

I'm about 14 cord deep so far.. Getting low on this year's supply. I've been cutting in uglies and cookies as I can to try and stretch it out.

    Right at 4.5 cord.
Last year was similar where February gave us a juke step and we ended up having our last fire on June 2nd.
    34F right now, April 9.

Pushing 6 cords and counting , winter just won’t quit here. Midweek warm up then cold and snow again for weekend, already talking 12-16 inches. Good news is I’ve been doing some scrounging and just about replenish the pile back to pre-season amount.

We're about out of the 2 facecord I bought last month, so we'll be through a solid 9 face cord this winter, so 3 full cord. This is now officially the most we've burnt in a winter.

We're over 4 cords now. Looks like we'll be close to 5 for the year.
I'm well into next years hoard.
Still have about 11 cords out there and I'll be taking three red oaks down in a few weeks .
We've been burning 24/7 for over 4 months...With the exception of 4 days were we let the fire go out during the day.

7-1/2 full cords since October 1. Should be closer to 6. Winter sucked this year.

Winter hardly showed up here this winter. Quit burning about a week ago. Burned about a cord, more or less, almost all ponderosa pine. The upside is I have over 3 cords left! :stack:
