Sjo is a type of indoor outdoor stranded cable wiring it can be used indoor and outdoor J means Junior Service so basically it’s stronger than standard household wiring and flexible.
SJO means rubber junior, oil resistant and is rated for 300V, SO is much thicker, oil resistant insulation and rated 600V.. For your use i would suggest SO as it can take a beating!
Already used sjo I don’t wanna tear it open again.... i have so in the van but that’s works property.
Nothing wrong with SJO.. Just throwing it out there.. SO costs a little more than SJO but holds up better for welding applications.. Trailer is looking awesome with loads of great ideas!
Well I got distracted a good friend of mine came over he ran out of firewood. We installed his stove in December I think.. We split and loaded him with a decent amount of dry wood. Now I’m back at the trailer.
Thanks Ray! I agree but I have SJO which is plenty for that crappy little turd of a grinder. The SO in the service van is works property so it stays put. Actually even though t works better the bearings are about completely burned up on that grinder. It hasn’t lasted long at all. I’ll probably go buy a nice porter cable 7.5 amp for home that porter cable metal chop saw has proven the quality many times over to me.
