No mater what they told you they will sting you through surgical gloves.
Wearing them also makes you just as care less.

A ditch I have been mowing for over 10 years. This is being done now with my Husky AWD mower. I also wear base ball cleats.

OH I had to modify the starter on the engine of this mower. Cheap chinese plastic washer flexed allowing the pins to fall out. heat it a tiny bit to get it flat, find a big I mean big fender washer and JB weld in place so the cheap plastic disk can't flex.
    Other wise a great mower.

Or should i say I'm a park ranger, since everyone thinks that's what we are, like there one in the same. Well not one in the same, more like I'm a park ranger...and park Rangers are also Foresters'?? This is a huge joke among us, that most people don't know what we do but they all know what a park ranger is, since they see them when they go to a state park or museum or monument etc.

Jack of all trades master of getting nowhere it feels like at times. Farm hand, HS history teacher, machinist, commercial applicator/grain elevator, OTR trucker, and currently a grain quality coordinator at a pasta company that makes around 1,000,000 pounds of pasta a day. I wish I was a recluse out in the sticks living off a little chunk of property with a cabin and only come to town about twice a year.

I'm about 9 months into a plumbers apprenticeship after quitting management. It's much more fulfilling to me than what I used to do

I figured it wouldn't be the first time you've heard it! Good luck with the tests.

Hey now, when it was announced that Twinkies were being discontinued, those little packages of cream filled sponge cakey goodness became quite valuable! They were selling on eBay and other places for $100 a box! Then, another company bought the rights to manufacture and the price dropped back to normal again.

Surprised I hadn't found this thread before today.

Spent the first few years through HS and college doing res & comm construction.

Spent the next 25 years doing land surveying, subdivision work, site planning, stormwater, water & wastewater design, got my professional engineering license as a civil engineer in VT and NY during that time.

Four years ago I changed careers entirely, now I'm working as director of environmental services/facility management for a large nursing home. Truly a jack-of-all-trades position. Today I could be writing job specs and drawing plans for a renovation project, tomorrow I could be plunging a toilet, building shelves or teaching a class on fire safety. I plan on retiring from here but I still have 19 years to go. I have a staff of 30, and 85 acres and 200,000 sf of buildings and grounds to take care of.
