    My grandfather was French Canadian and grandmother was French Indian. Both barely spoke English. I grew up and attained the Downeast accent with a lot of Arcadian French. I don't talk funny I just don't know how to pronounce a R and oo is u.

    It seemed whenever I met someone new while in the Navy (70's) they would always end up asking "How did someone form Canada get into the U.S. Navy?" :rofl: :lol:

    Yes, that's a great route. I used to live in Bethel, worked in Mexico. The waterfalls alone are worth it.

    Yes I've got a son who's got colleges courting him pretty hard, but he's a diehard PSU boy so he's got his sights set there, and that's only a half hour away.

    I like that area ok. Usually me and the wife go spend a long weekend there every year or two. Lot's of neat stuff, some of it is well off the beaten path .

    We were in York last year for ASA Nationals for a week. It was a good time. We had a little down time every day. Took the girls to Gettysburg Hershey Park and their highlight was some ice cream factory near York, they ate 15 gallons of free samples.

    She wants to go check out Carnegie Melon and U Penn in Pittsburgh this summer, ruled out Tufts after visiting. Looking at a couple others in Mass but doesn't want to be in Mass. Less than 200 schools in the country has the major she wants her BS in, hopefully we dont have to check out Texas.

    I'll see if its doable! Not sure where my missus wants to vacay, but it's probably going to be a beach venue somewhere between VA and SC.......

    I want to build one of those pits. That is when I can be home and not traveling the east coast 40 weekends a year and might actually have a little time to do something, probably another 6 years from now. I know she wants to go check it out and I also do work with a company that I occasionally have to meet with there so chances are we're heading there this summer at some point. I'll give you a heads up and bring some crustaceans.
