You should have seen the one near me thistle!

This Firewood is still a upright tree located between two residential houses and was destroyed by one of our storms. Approximately 5 feet of the ground is a 1/4 to 1/2 inch crack extending up the tree about 24 inches. On the backside of this tree there is a huge chunk of the trunk that is missing. The base of this tree is within 1 foot of my neighbors house. The tree extends across the driveway and continues above the backside of my address. In order to cut this down you will need to speak to the neighbor and my landlord. Pictures to follow please look at the pictures. Come by the house and take a look if you want. I will add my landlords phone number if you have any questions. image.jpg

Any chance Emma will have another pup to get after… or, have you decided Em's enough?

We talk about picking up a second Eskie. But… I dunno… (Nice pic of the 2 of them)

Sorry for going way off the craiglist thread thistle!!:wacky:

We've talked about another Pyr Stinny but with these 2 little yahoos we have enough in the house ;)
We picked up Emma and Murphy which was a year apart from a sheep farm that ended up being basically a puppy mill  Murphy got into some wicked health problems and the vet said Emma 'might' end up the same way? She is 4 now and so far so good. How old is Giz?

She'll be 5 in Oct. Let's hope Emma doesn't have any issues as she gets older. I'm sure losing Murphy was more than enough to endure.

btw… thanks for reminding me about changing topics in threads. I don't mean to… but I do it all the time…:emb:

That Murphy & Emma pic, with the firewood, would be on my wall for sure. Awesome.

Reminds me of a thread a while back where a guy took his saw in to a mech to get it fixed, saying the same thing "it won't start". The mech opened the gas cap and said "try adding gas". Couple pulls and away it went. No telling what this saw's been thru tho…

As long as the piston and cylinder are in good shape and there isn't significant impact damage somewhere not visible in the picture, yes. I'd jump on it, and bring a T27 torx driver to take the cover off the muffler and get a look at the piston. Cleaned and gotten running it's a $250 saw.

Edited to ad: that saw hasn't been used much -- little paint loss, little wear noticeable on the front handle or recoil cover, plastic engine and air filter covers are shiny and bright. Looks like a typical homeowner saw that stops working out of neglect but can be gotten going again with minimal effort.

If it pulls freely & has compression of 140 or higher I would say go for it. A lot of times it is simple things to get them going. Sparkplug, clean carb, replacing fuel lines/in tank filter/screen, making sure the coil isn't short out by a kill switch or bare wire, ...

Could just be massively flooded, did that to my ms250 once. Took about 6 minutes of pulling to get it cleaned out.

even if the piston is toast there is a lot more than $50 in parts in just what you can see there.

That tree ball is going to take out the foundation of the house if it falls.
