I don't think we have had that much on the ground at one time all winter here! Maybe once...and if so it wasn't any more than that. Real wuss of a winter other than the one cold snap...

    Ahh. Multnomah falls.

How long are you out there? Any free time to see other cool sights? Mt Hood and Timberline Lodge is a must see. Have a beer in the lodge, and enjoy the huge fireplace. It's pretty epic.

Try playing the "punchbug game" using lumbersexuals instead. Everyone will have big bruises..

We had one storm that we were supposed to get hammered by. We got like 4". They predicted about a foot.

So Eric, you guys down there in virginia-tucky have had more snow than us this year here in southern Wisconsin.

Believe me, I don’t care if we see it or not. But it’s here now, so oh well.
Also had some lightning snow, no Jim Cantore Thunder Snow and song, but plenty of flashes of lightning.

I’m a mechanic by trade and have tens of thousands in tools locked up inthe shop at work. So I get to change the water pump with a screwdriver and hammer I have at the house.

Slept in this morning... Watched the Invicta MMA Womens fight lastnight at a buddy's house. Since it was after midnight I decided it was a good time to let the boy drive the truck on the roadway for the first time. So we took a short little jaunt around the neighborhood... We've been driving in a school parking lot the last two Sundays... The first day  .... I was like what did I get into....:hair:.... but it got his attention when I locked the truck in 1st gear...:D.... Last Sunday was night and day difference... So I figured it was time to get him on the road to test some of his parking lot driving lessons... Since I'm here this morning... must mean I survived...:D...

I had a pump on the shelf knowing that I would need it sooner or later. But do I have any coolant? Course not. Its gonna take longer to run to town to get some than the whole job.

I'm in the ER with my mom today, possible UT infection, or the flu. Either not good for an 84 year old.

I've got a Gamo that is surprisingly accurate at 40 yards.
First shot through it startled me because it nearly as loud as a 22, and it's called Silent Cat. After that it was quiet. .177 and 1250 fps
    It's a rabbit getter.

How did it get quieter? I've read that there's oil in the barrel new, and that burns off allowing it to be quiet. It essentially "diesels" until that oil is burnt off. I've also read that some pellets are quieter.
