I couldn't sleep last night and when I finally fell asleep I was late getting up. In my rush I ran down the front steps and didn't notice the ice on the driveway. Took a nasty fall on the cement. I can hardly move I hurt my back bad! Just took me 5 minutes to get up from my desk. Looks like I am making a trip to the doctor later today.
Ice is an opportunistic SOB. Broke my leg a few years ago slipping on ice. Hope your Dr's visit is just a brief checkup. Take care of yourself Ward!
That sucks, I hope all goes well. I have a pair of old boots these spikes stay on all winter, I use them every day. I bought mine from a local bait shop, they have different sizes depending on what your boot size runs. http://www.rakuten.com/prod/high-te...r&adid=18183&gclid=CI7JyZKiq70CFa_m7AoddT0ASw
Welcome to the FHC ice skating team… scoring is done by the black & blues multiplied times broken bones… Drink plenty of liquids while moving slowly back and forth to the frig…
Well Ward....welcome to the club. I just did this a couple-3 days ago. Feeling quite a bit better today, but still a little sore.....my whole torso and neck. What did the Doc say? You must have missed my post....I warned everybody to please be careful out there.
Yes, I guess I missed that one. I need to learn to pay attention! Haven't gone to the doc yet, I'm still at work until 2. I can't say I'm working til 2 though, that would be a lie. Just trying to sit still and look busy!
They say I sprained my back....never heard of that one before?!?! Vicodin and muscle relaxers ought to have me feeling better soon, I hope!
If so, always go light on the pain killers. Just take a small dose, enough to take the edge off. They don't tell you how the pain killers, even Tylenol and all the rest, are not good for your organs. If I need something, I might take one extra strength Tylenol.
Apparently I hurt my ears as well because I just read the paperwork and it says "lumbar STRAIN" not sprain...doh!
