Held one of these the other day, it's double action. trigger was nice even pulling the double action part. felt good in hand too. the one I looked at was in FDE color. Canik
Yet another copy! Tanfoglio, EEA, Jericho, IMI/Desert Eagle, Norinco, Sphinx. The most sincere form of flattery!
I can't help it I like guns. I don't think one can have to many as long as used in a law abiding way. Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in 454 Casull/45 Long Colt. I carry it in a fanny pack in front of me when I mountain climb in Montana. It is a handfull with the big CorBons but a delight with the cowboy round 45 long colts Ruger SP101 22 LR. Just a fun chunk of steel to play with built like a small hammer and all the woodchucks around here hate me (whilst they are still breathing that is) Smith and Wesson Mod 14 Target Masterpiece 38 Special built the year I was born 1958 trigger is smooth as glass not orig grips and screws some holster wear got it cheap $300 from an retired LEO this old 38 is the best shooting handgun I have ever put my hands on just point and shoot it hits where I aim every freaking time a well built gun built by craftsmen who were proud to do their job and do it well Ruger P345 45ACP a very under-rated med frame semi auto single stack mag good for smallish hands shoots anything you put through it no stovepipes it don't care what you use hot, cowboy, balls, or reloads just shoot it and have fun it never fails this is my wife's favorite shooter Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Rem Mag 9.5 inch barrel 2 X Leupold scope Bought this used got a killer deal scope was already on it $700 the guy gave the box of ammo that came with the gun new. He shot this gun 20 times! Glock 26 9mm Gen 1 my concealed carry. DeSantis pocket holster, Pierce pinky mag extension, Crimson Trace grip laser sight also my night stand gun many people make fun of 9mm but I wouldn't want to get hit with one with Gold Dots in the mag for sure that would hurt
My sheriff buddy ditched his g43 for the new sig as his back up piece. He loves it. I haven't coon fingered one yet unfortunately.
Is this an SV 9 or 40 ?? What is the trigger pull weight now ? I had some Sigma's . I really liked them but the trigger pull is too heavy for my wife.
It's the 40, I don't have a gauge to check the trigger, it's better than it was. It would probably be Ok for your wife but I would buy her something else.
I just wish somebody made a reasonably priced trigger kit for the older Ruger LC9. The trigger on it is worse than the Smith. all the ones I seen are 100 bucks. don't want to put that much in it.
She likes her XD9 Sub Compact. The LC9S has a nice trigger. I got rid of her old model LC9 just because of the trigger And the thumb safety. The S model cured both problems.
Yeah, they fixed the trigger, but us that bought the old ones are stuck with a piece of junk. Too me why would Ruger or Smith even put out a gun with a trigger that bad. even at a cheaper price I wouldn't put no junk out like that. Ruger had a buyback deal goin that they would give you 100 bucks for your old one in trade on the newer model. 100 bucks, big whoopty doo.. I must be a real dummy, I got screwed twice and bought both the Smith and Ruger.lol
But I will say it won't happen again, I buy my guns now at the local gun shop and they let you dry fire them. Some places won't like Academy sports, I ask to dry fire one onetime and got chewed out by the manager, I left. Never will I buy another I can't dryfire again.
