have to see how old it is.....is it the UL design, or the old, chain drive? There isnt a date in the picture. Doesnt appear to have a hearth pad included, and says nothing of the piping, etc......if its UL, then its an ok price, if its chain drive, maybe a bit high.

would likely go for around $200.......$175-200, Id say. It contains a tensioner, chain, 2 sprockets, and a feed motor frame mounting frame. We stopped carrying them for stock.....old obsolete units. We still stock chains, sprockets, tensioner wheels, etc. The REALLY old sprockets aren't even made anymore. If you have sprockets on your unit that are different sizes, you'll need a new chain (60 pin) if you change out the smaller sprocket for a bigger one.....

The main reason the old chains would jump off was due to the rubber shock mounts on the auger motor bracket would deteriorate. The new kits do not use them anymore correct?

Also the real old Advance units like this 20 year old one with the metal hopper lid, that I worked on in Dedham MA had no Tensioner!
However I liked the old Iron fines box cover. See the raised letters in the casting? :)
    See pics

also, jumping chains can mean the grommets are shot, but more often mean that the sprocket teeth are worn down, or, the motor bracket has become bent, making the sprockets out of line, and the chain walks right off the sprockets
