I work for a vocational school and we are always getting offers like:
"You know, if the students replaced the engine in my truck it would be a great learning opportunity"

"The kids would learn a lot if they poured a new foundation for my house."

    People are funny:rofl:

"Available to qualified tree removal professionals only"... I never knew the pros did it for free for the firewood!? :loco:

I've got a huge willow, leaning over the garage... Now I now I know who to call!

Why do people think that it's worth that much in firewood?

Someone needs to get a business card made up and drop it off for them. Idiots for hire or something like that.:drunk:

Ha, makes the folks with the Honey Locust I passed on this weekend who insisted you also take the rest of the mess seem pretty reasonable. Still not going to remove their mess though.

Right where I want to be.
But, I'm doing you a favor letting you get this wood for free.
Either they have no clue re: the cost to operate a crew, or they fully understand and have no interest in paying for a "simple" job such as these.
It's menial, therefore "easy". o_O Now who's got the simple mind?
I shouldn't read things like this.....gets me all worked up and mad at the world.
Time for another cup o' Java.

Tell me the truth -- how much cash in an envelope would it take to get your students to build a house for me?

You know it would be a great opportunity; it would make a great year long experience for the students to see a project from start to finish.

    $399 do it?

Thanks for the screen shot. I would much prefer the screen shots to links for ads that get deleted. This allows for the posts to have value down the road.
