nah, its about 1.5hrs from me and i have more oak on my property than i care to deal with. idk about $500/2 cords, but at least its free for somebody and easy to split.

But, I'm doing you a favor letting you get this wood for free.
Either they have no clue re: the cost to operate a crew, or they fully understand and have no interest in paying for a "simple" job such as these.
It's menial, therefore "easy". Now who's got the simple mind?
