Have an auto repair customer that needed some tree removal done, sure no problem, I know some guys. Barc Busters Tree Service from the forum. Took out the trouble trees no problem, even let me help a little. Happy customer, she burns wood & mentions that she needs someone with a big saw to cut up a large Oak tree that was dropped a year ago, sure I can do that. Yep, big Red Oak, 40" at the stump laying on a grade, no big deal, till she tells me her stove can only take 14" max so she needs it cut at 12". Ran 5 tanks of fuel through the 660 making what amounts to cookies, man am I tired. Saw ran great didn't hit anything to dull the chain, but what a tedious job.
Nice cookie cutting AC! Do you have to do the splittin’? Who constitutes this group of Barc Busters, secretive members?
Nope, this gal cuts & splits her own, just needed the big stuff cut. Barc Busters = Armbru84 & Barcroftb
That is some good looking wood. That Oak always makes me jealous. They do look like extra wide cookies.
Man, that reminds me of the giant oak that Midwinter got a lot of.oak from. Huge trunk cut into 12" cookies.
Yeah boy. The wood look good! On top of your blinkin what 12 cords you’re still working on brought to you in log form???? Definitely got your woodwork cut out for you, I’m lacking a better term here!
Hehe, that was actually about 20 cord, but who's counting lol. This tree here stays for the owner, l just cut it up.
Shoulda loaded that pig in the trailer & brought to the GTG to let the big boys play with. That bugger was some hard wood.
It would be fun to have a big hardwood log to run Cole's 084 & a couple of the big ported saws in. Something big enough to bury a 3' bar.
I'll see what we can do. No promises though. The biggest we have here is some 27-30" ash Cole dropped off.
