Sorry to hear of the nasty snows you folks up Nor'east are getting.

HOPE Y'ALL make it through OK

We are cool this morning with one stove burning.

Yesterday was a decent day weather wise.
FINALLY GOT the title for the 97 Astro van we bought back in Feb.

Folks had lost the title and had to get a new one.
WE hit the DMV Tuesday and got the widdle beast some tags and got it on the road (legally) yesterday.

Had some squealing coming from the front end while out running errands ??????

Sounded like brake pads up front....stopped at Auto Zone and got a fresh set.

YUP ... Pads were right at the squeakers ...

Took maybe an hour and got the pads swapped...MUCH BETTER... Rotors are in good order.

Glad I caught the pads before they chewed the rotors up.

Rear axle is making some nasty howls... likely a failed pinion bearing/s

As soon as the weather improves a bit more I will tear the diffy apart and see wassssssup in there.

Going to drive the van off and on to keep the miles down on the BENZ. Lease gives me 10,000 a year.

The van is for my Snow cat project, so really had not planned on doing a bunch of drive train repairs...buttttttttttttttttttttttt, the beast has to be safe and reliable..

We had some lovely 60's F weather a few days ago and it is stirring up ideas of summer things ya know...

no snow to dust off in my garage :D. I even put my truck in the warehouse the last two storms for the day so I didn't have to deal with it after work.

I am so glad I got the tent garage so I can put my truck inside instead of leaving it out. the Snow-shield cover I used previously helped with keeping the windshield clean, and kept me from idling the truck forever to get the frost/ice/snow melted off it, but didn't do a dang thing for keeping several feet of snow off the vehicle :D

That sounds really good. I can't even see a lump in the snow where my fire pit is. Crazy snow here. March can often be our snowiest month. When it goes, it goes fast. we will go from snow to green grass in three weeks. Ground isn't frozen this year. The snow came early and insulated it. I'll be putting the tick stuff on the dogs as soon as I see bear ground showing.

We haven't had jack squat for snow this year, we're due for a whopper....

I'm tired of the dyslexic weather, I'm cooking outside weather it's windy and snowing or not!
