I hope your ok Steve. My day sucks because I am dealing with the after math of my wife’s vehicle getting broken into yesterday. In addition to the damage, a Glock 20 and sattilite phone was stolen. I have been dealing with insurance, sat phone store, and the police Dept.
Yes, but it’s complicated. It takes sattalites to track it verse towers. Takes 3 to triangleiate the signal. Phone needs to be on.
That blows tom. Is that typical m.o. for the junkies in the big city up there? The thieves and junkies hit the hotel parking lots down here all the damm time.
Not so good dall, but better than Tom it sounds like. Tearing My Atv down. Got any advice for me on this? Polaris xplorer 250 head gasket leak
Anchorage is the big town, junkies is the assumption. We have done our due diligence and provided information to the local pd. This confirms what we live 400 miles from that big town. While it sucks, we have insurance for times like this, stinks I will pay twice. Even if the police department does not find them, the meth will catch up with their indescretions.
dont know what caused it bo but id take head off and have it machined make sure your head bolts are good and havent pulled
Tom. Next time you are in the big town, you use decoy pistols for them. ( Sorry, trying to put a smile on ur mug)
When you take the head off check for warpage. A flat piece of glass and sandpaper you can see if it is still flat or not. This is not uncommon with engines that have seen plenty of use. After you know/have it flat, the new gasket torqued down to specs should be good for a long, long time.
Good afternoon howser's. Wood pile is getting pretty low, all I can hope for is some snow melt to be able to get to some more to cut.
Good Dall, got my atv head off. No Drama. Got gasket, tie rod ends, and A arm bushings ordered. Hows you?
evening bo im ok i guess lol have you checked to see if head is warped ? like steve suggested steve is a slacker but knows a little bit
