Watching the ECAC hockey championship game, after the end of the first period, Union - 0 vs Colgate - 0

Colgate had a great first period but never scored. I coached one player on Union, Matt Hatch for three years, my nephew plays for Colgate.

 

Took my mother to the ISU womens basketball tournament game. She isnt able to go without someone taking her because of her age and mobility problems. 6 hour round trip drive to pick her up and watch them lose badly.

Wouldnt trade that time with her for anything.

 

Great that you did that schlot. I'm sure she wouldn't that time for anything either!

 

Syracuse basketball team lost last night. Oh well. Jim's got another year under his belt with a good win to lose record. They seemed to have a difficult time offensively as it got toward the end of the season. Several guys couldn't hit the shots right at the end of the season. Tough to win when several of your players are not hitting the shots they normally do.

 

Caffeine going in, almost time to head out to the woods to start cutting. Don't want to bother the neighbors too early though, so I will wait until 9:00 to fire up the saw. And in the meantime I think I will clean my saw up a little.

 

If you own 80 acres you can start the saws whenever you want.

 

LOL This is true Mike. The area I'm cutting in now is near my neighbors house, so I just wanted to give them a little more quiet time in case they were into the sauce last night. LOL Break time right now. Cold, especially with an occasional wind.

Im not so sure....she probably still wants to backhand me for being such a turd when i was young. Lol.

 

My father used that term on the regular, "the sauce".

My mother grabbed a 2x4 when I was a turd, she could never catch me though. BUT my father could!

 

What a day out there. Awesome to see the sun this strong. I moved some more brush this morning and cut a little more wood. Now it is time to take it easy for the rest of the day. Wife and kids just pulled into the camp for lunch and a relaxing afternoon. Time to kick back!

 

If I'm cutting around the house on a Sunday, I wait until 10:00 before I start. If I'm cutting on the piece of property I usually cut on I'll start around 8:00 a.m.

 

Same rules apply here, I give the neighbors a little peace on the weekends, then we fire it up! Weekdays are different, 8am
