Berwick. I got access to some nice logs but didn't have a way to haul them. Don't feel comfortable using other peoples' equipment. I help a friend at his mill near Bloomsburg so now I'm ready to go!

Nice area! I spent a lot of time in Milton and White Deer this year.
I hit up the antique malls in Lewisburg often while I was there.

 

I'll shoot you a PM on my buddy's mill. An old antique Frick. Not too far from Lewisburg. He saws quite a bit Saturday mornings. You can also find it on Facebook. Neat to watch it run.

When I here of Berwick...it reminds me of where my mom was born...Nescopeck....had an aunt that lived in Wilkes-Barre....anyhow....nice trailer...it was made about 15 miles from where I live.

I’ve heard good things about the 6.2 liter engine. Do you have 4.30 or 3.73 gears?

 

373. Only have about 1500 miles on it so far but I really like it. Getting about 11mpg but I expected that and I'm sure it'll get a little better. I've always been a GM guy but got a great price on this and I love it. Anxious to see how it performs towing some logs.

I need to do some fixing on the old mill and the Detroit power unit so we can run it more regularly.

 

Finally got the first load of logs with my new trailer! Next step is getting it to the mill!

I've always had GM all my life but never again. I got an F250 Super Duty last Jan., with the 6.2 and 4.30 gears. Great truck.

FWIW I hauled some junk to the landfill and they weight the truck before and after. I couldn't believe it when emptied the truck weighs 7500#s with me in it! No wonder mileage is what it is.

 

Agree completely. I'm thrilled with this Ford. My last truck was a '14 Sierra 1500. Really liked it but I think GM is just more about plush and technology. Seemed like I was always getting recalls.
