    Good morning everyone. One last week of work and the Spring Break. Busy with report cards which students will get right before the break. Mild outside and not raining for our walk this morning. We got clothes dry on the line yesterday and we tackled taking the blackberry vines in the yard. I don't mind that the property below has lots but they don't over well when they encroach on the yard. Crocus are blooming and snowdrops. Roses are putting out new leaves and my rhubarb that we moved last fall is showing leaves. Spring is on the way.

    Very nice weather here this week for lil ones spring break, and......the Barn Swallows are back early this year!!!! It's supposed to be 70* when we visit my father in Colorado later this week :thumbs:

    Finally getting bids to fix house, after fire and 3 weeks without power in November.. Insurace companies:headbang::headbang:.. Can't say more but 5 months later .. REALLY..

    Sheetrocker.. 5 dollars a sq foot to hang mud tape.. No paint or removal.. :startled:.. NO..

    What? 1 full sheet installed will be $160? Wow. That's somebody trying to stick it to the insurance company. You can do unfinished car siding for less than that! Materials for 32 sq ft is roughly $60. That leaves lots of room for labor and finishing.

    I agree bocefus78, no that was not insurance price.. I agree you got to pay professionals a price for quality.. A 4 x 8 here is 13 dollars sheet white board. I always figured when in game 15 years ago, that x 5 was fair..
