We got about 4-6 inches only, but it’s some of the wettest and heaviest chit I’ve seen. Everything was pure white out this morning. We lost some tree limbs and half a tree in one case, due to the heavy snow but as it warmed up a bit now, what was stuck to the trees is mostly melted off already. By some miracle we did not lose power this time around. Many in CT did, I think the high point we saw was ~125K customers out.

Got about 15" of snow so far although the local TV station is reporting 17" for my town. Course I just went out to measure so there may have been some settling.

Did lose my home made D clip on the snow blower so had to hand rotate the chute during the very last part of my paths. That's okay, I have spares now so stuck one in and I'm ready for the next storm.

Got 14-16" in the town of Luneyburg and got up at my usual time to clear it to get my truck on the road along with clearing off my wife's car. I was shoveling as I am a kind neighbor as I know the neighbor across the street has some youngin's one very recent and about 4:45 am as I was nearing the 4' snowbank created by my favorite town snowplow I heard the same neighbors snowblower fire up, well that meant GAME ON ! opened the garage and fired up the Ariens and destroyed the the plow snowbank.

Did not make it to work until 8 something but funny thing my rescue Yorkie mix who has pretty bad vision as she is 14 years old and we have not taken her to have her fur shortened as we let her grow it over the winter along with cataracts . I left the snow shovel just outside the door of the porch as I knew I would have to shovel in the am for her to do her duty(at 2:30 am) and when i opened the porch door she jumped out not having good vision into 14" of snow which after she landed the snow covered her and all I could see was something wriggling around (top of her head hair) and i had to grab into the snow and pull her out.

Was a hellacious ride into Cambridge as the roads were pretty bad and it was snowing like there was no tomorrow. As usual work sucked but i said Fu** it left early and came home and finished the snow removal that I did not do this morning . Early to bed tonight and give it Heck tomorrow .
Hope all is wel for the peeps here and abroad as 300 k people here in MA without power .

I guess i am OCD about it.
changed oil about 6 months ago and other than run it for 15 minutes or so every 5-6 weeks,
we didn't need it till this past weekend.. power out for 27 hours and we ran straight 24 hours.
gonna change the oil again this weekend.. only cost of 1 Qt and knowing cleaner oil is in it Keeps me and it happy.

I don't know how much snow we got but my son plowed twice. I have more snow on my garage roof than I think I've even seen. I know what my Saturday will be like.

We put a metal roof on our lean to. You should see that when the sun comes out. The snow stats slipping, curling at the edges, then one big slip and it is all on the ground. If I could afford it, I would be thinking about metal roofing over the house and garage. As it is, I had the roofs redone a few years back with those architectural roofing shingles. I think they have an anticipated 25 yr life. So the next roof will be done by the next owner of this place.

Oh that was mild for my attitude at the time

This had to have been some of the heaviest crap we have dealt with in a long time. It wasnt too bad in the morning, Still heavy but I was able to get it cleared down to pavement as it was wet on the bottom. I had to go to work and was able to jusy clear enough to get out. During the day it compacted while beginning to freeze from the bottom up making it extremely difficult to get to the bottom of the crud.

With a continuous light sn*w non stop was just salt in the wound

It plain suked-today everything hurts :pain:
