Don't know if your's was discussed previously, but I see one of those white cords that usually lead to a "power strip".....99% of those are junk and won't protect anything. Is yours something better? That's a beautiful stove, and pretty $$$$....hate to see what a new control board runs for one of those.

Yes Bogie a upc has been on my short list for a while already just haven't gotten one yet because power outages are rare around here. We get blips once in a while but I don't even know how many years it's been since we had a power outage of any type.

youll wish you had one with that old leaky pipe if the power goeth out! FWIW, the APC appears to be a much better product than the Tripplite....Ive used both.

Well, unfortunately Harmans prefer pure sine power. Keep an eye out for sales on Cyberpower or APC. You can get a good one (1350va-1500va ) for about the same $$ you spent on this. If it were me, I would return this and wait out a good pure sine backup-you want to protect the electronics in your new stove.

Maybe I am confused, but i thought Harmans wanted the non-sine wave units so it would know to go into shutdown.

We have the Cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD and they work like a champ, they got the real life test this past weekend. Each stove is plugged into one.
