Well, everyone missed the boat on this morning's snow. Local TV said trace to 2". WUG said <1". I already had 2" at 4:20 when I left the house and it was snowing like crazy. They also said it shouldn't stick on the roads. Someone forgot to tell the first 12-13 miles of road I travel; had a good amount on it and it was slick underneath. Saw two single-vehicle accidents, a car and a little AWD. The second accident already had a tow truck hooking up. Then saw an ambulance and fire truck on the way to, I assume, the first accident I had passed. Usually that road produces accidents but not the kind that need emergency vehicles since it is a twisty road.

    Drive careful everyone!

Yep. Stopped at Cumberland Farms for gas and ran in for coffee (should have skipped that as it was obviously burned once I took a sip - that is 99 cents down the drain). Anyway, gal at the register was saying up to a foot and I hadn't heard that. Sure enough looked on WUG and this is the tale at this time

I just want to be able to bring my bike home - and then be able to ride it on occasion until full riding season begins. But, that can't happen until I don't need the snow blower handy in the garage :headbang:

    From our watch statement:

Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are possible.

Oh yes, I did see them. Very cute. Love puppies. I hope you enjoy every moment of it. Take plenty of pictures because it is over is what will become to a flash in time. But this is a good time for you and your family and family of fur friends. Now to go back and watch it for more times.

I don't know how you get up that early and go out into the horrid driving conditions you run into.

I much prefer leaving early with little traffic than driving in lots of traffic - and all those school busses. I can add 20-30 minutes to my drive time if I wait until "rush hour".
