Training. I'm beyond that. Done for tonight with the flooring.

    It does look good though.

    I'm planning a 3 bay 5 cord each wood shed, 3 bays 10 w x 8 tall, by I think 10 ft deep.

Does yours have to pass the aesthetic test like my wife will be giving my shed?

Yeah, I think as long as it doesn't look like a cobbled together piece of crap I'll be fine though.

I'm thinking of presenting this to "the planning board"

You must be remembering someone else. I've never had laminate flooring of any type. If it ain't hardwood its sheet linoleum.

Lmao. 15 cords would give me 3 years approximately. I may leave one bay empty to use for storage and let wood dry outside for the first year.

I only had room for a 3 cord woodshed (third of a acre lot). If you've got the space, go big!

I have about the same. However, everything you see 3' beyond the deck is conservation land. I'm planning to sneak it onto that land. However, I just saw in the mail as I went through it that they will be assessing property values in the next few months. Not sure building a structure on their land is a good idea right now. 20180305_083034.jpg

Yeah that could come around to bite you. Maybe build it so you could tack on a temporary "lean to" on the back.

Around here, you couldn't get away with having a structure so close to the property line. 3 feet is really close. Look around your neighborhood. See any example of what others are being allowed to do on conservation property. While at, how would they evaluate anything of yours that is not on your property? I wouldn't think they could tax you on something without some proper allowances.

The previous owners had a quanset hut type tent that was 25% on the conservation land when I bought the house, the chicken coop was 100% on it too. Satellite images show there used to be another structure of some sort as well.

Im not worried about the tax, I just don't want to have something being built when they come.
