    Yes!! Its at my neighbors house and its dying. So were going to drop it maybe this summer.

    Probably has center rot too if it's dying. Looks to have been topped many moons ago.

    Lots of branches... make sure it’s not “back weighted” towards the house... gravity and Murphy can intercede with unwelcome results... I may have witnessed the reaction of those 2 working in cahoots before. :whistle:

    The opposite branching and bark say sugar maple. Careful taking it down could have some hollow spots in the trunk. I hate pruning jobs like that.
