The Toro is again "running w/ the Bulls" - no hardware store needed, just removal of (2) bolts securing the Impeller blade to the Auger shaft, some motor oil on everything to help the rock slide, and a quick knock w/ a piece of wood on the impeller -> in the opposite direction, to free the jammed rock & back it out.

It took longer to clean the ice/dirt/sand/debris out of the impeller housing, vs. unbolting the impeller blade & getting it back together. Ready for Wednesday!

Well its good to have power back on. We got maybe 6" of wet heavy snow with some pretty good winds. My weather station did not record winds because I believe the sleet that started to come down at 4am froze the blades. Sump pump I fixed 2 weeks ago quit Friday morning before I left for work so I had to go get a new one and install before work. Young son called at 1030am and said power went out. Tried to start genny and oil was pumping out of it as he was pulling it over. ? Ran home from work in the heavy snow to find the oil plug gone. ? Took plug from another engine and started genny and made sure things were good. Got power back last night at 930pm. Nice to have tv and internet back for sunday.

I hope savemoney has power and is able to enjoy the puppy video. He mentioned how much he liked puppies.

Oh trust me, I ain't liking it either - but given the choice of shoveling tons of wet chit vs. the Toro chewing it up & spitting it out.. I'll take being handy, vs. handsome. The Hammer came in handy today. :D

I can't see embedded pics or vids on the Forum here, started a few weeks ago. :(

Dunno if it's browser, OS, "Adblock", or Anti Virus related, gonna try another computer later to try to narrow it down.
It could also be "Operator Error" on my part.. :picard:

Glad your power is back on Doggy  - sounds like you've been very busy w/ storm-related 'ish' lately also.

Glad you had a BFH that was working for you today ;)

WUG is still forecasting 5-8" on Wednesday and then another 1-3" on Thursday. I may work from home at least part of one of those days - which one depends on how late they move the expected start of the snow for Wednesday and how late it ends the next day.

Found it - it was [Avast Online Security] add-on for Firefox on this particular workstation..

Embedded pic and vid issue on Forum software.jpg

Unticking "Block social networks by default" magically fixed it.

Nice vid & pups Doggy! I'd keep all of them.

It has a clue and declared social networks useless by default. Fakebook never shows current stuff to none account holders. I stay away from facebook junk.

Today we made our first visit of the year to Bay Haven I had a Lobster salad bun, cup of clam chowder and a Tukerman's draft pale ale. The boss had fish and chips funny not seeing any of the old crew.

It's cool David - now that I know what's going on, I have no problem disabling it as needed to see pics & vids from FHC members on this Trusted Site.

Edit: Your lunch sounds real tasty, and made me hungry.

Lunch was great. Next up will be a fisherman's platter, just testing the waters. Big changes for the place and I hope they didn't cut their nose off to spite their face, looks like they lost some seating. But I didn't hobble around they were busy and overflowing, no more Sunday visits by us.

Rob, I am pretty sure Avast has been an issue with our customers and scanning from the MFP's.

It wouldn't surprise me G - it's pretty aggressive 'out of the box' for security, which is great for system protection: but also can cause some issues w/ some devices & software. Kaspersky is another AV product that behaves similarly, in my experience.
