Three fresh inches on the ground and more coming down. Time to clean up some branches and cut some more wood.
Box is working great. Now that I made the tool box on top a little bigger it can hold both saws, hatchet, helmet, chains, rope in the 5 gallon bucket, a heavy duty pry bar on the side, a steel shovel, rakes in spring/summer, etc. I'm enjoying it. I have taken a good bit of wood out with it this winter. I just put it away. Getting too much snow. Just drank a Red Bull , going to go finish pulling all the brush off the road. It will be a serious workout!
I wish you were here helping too W.S.! I'm getting a little tired already. Wait, Red Bull starting to kick in. Time to wrestle some brush. Gotta go!
Nice job Gasifier, how are the winds your way, pretty strong at times here so I blew off the cutting. I ended up plowing the driveway with the Super Duty 250 and the Rhino, cleared my way to the wood stacks so we can put in wood today.
He does love that stuff...Looks like the ford and the box worked out well for him. You can keep the snow! I think we are nearly done on the east coast, 50's today! Enjoy Gas Man!!

Just a little wind. Didn't get much wood this morning. Too much snow coming down. Put the tractor away till it stops this afternoon. Moved a lot of branches though! Making some headway. Good work on the cleaning up! I will have to do that later before it gets dark.
Stopped snowing about 11:30-12:00ish. Good time to start working. But I had to get cleaned up and go see my girls dance at the Boys and Girls Club Expo. Only problem is there are a lot of dancers. This is going to take a while! Oh well, back in the woods when I get out of here. Get to drool over a new Mihandra Tractor with cab and loader on display from the Wood Chop Shop though! And boats and ATVs and UTVs and.....
The snow and the wind finally stopped about 1:30 ago, we'll put wood in tomorrow morning so we're ready for the cold stretch, -12 tomorrow night for our area.
Ash and a little Spruce on the bottom. That Ash was about 11" across. They grow straight up through the Pines and Spruce, which are already close together. So they are great for firewood. Not many branches until you get to the tops.
