My 2 goofy fingers. Almost cut the tips off back in 1994. Not so bad. Circular saw and a tailgate don't mix.

I was using a 4.5 inch grinder with a sanding disk on it and the disk came apart, cut down to the tendon, could watch it move my finger, was pretty cool to watch.
where are they getting Dr.'s these day the girl that stitched me up did not look old enough to be in HS never less a Dr. but she did an excellent job.
Off till Monday, oh and by making the part I needed instead of buying it I saved 42 dollars, minus the ER trip so I could of probably of bought a new siding brake instead of fixing the old one.

Well it could have been worse, them little discs can really putt a hurting on you. My local welding supply house has a picture of half a disc in someone's face...gives me goosebumps. Glad you're okay.

Hope you heal up without any complications. If you see any, and I mean any sign of infection get to the doctor pronto. Infections can cause scarring along the tendon - which is bad.

I got to see the tendon in my wrist once. They didn't give me antibiotics at the ER and it got infected (but way down deep so I couldn't tell for a couple of weeks - not even any heat in the area). Ended up in surgery after PT couldn't get the scarring from the infection to break up.
