I will second that! Since you have FEL to solve problem, I don't see a downside to taking it off ATV, especially if it allows you to get outside and check your trees, get some fresh air and give Your beautiful young bride a break.:yes::yes:

Many thanks for your offer of help. But as you know now, it really is not difficult to put on or take off. I could not do it after the surgery but should have no problem now.

Perhaps it is time you also take off Tuesdays and Thursdays?!

My vote is to remove it. Has to be harder on the atv going through the woods with it hanging there, you have a tractor to fall back on and you have people willing to put it back on.
The only way to guard against a future snowfall is to go and buy some new snow removal equipment that you're dying to use.

Tomorrow March comes in like wet lamb, I hope it goes out like a dry lion....unless it's a white lion and that would be fine as well. Sick of the rain we have had a big percentage of February.

Yes and I hear there is a chance we could get a couple more yet this month and especially in the first half of the month.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
Funny, last week it was warm and green, and I got to thinking about starting seedlings for the garden.. then I came to my senses as it's still to early for such things.

Towards the end of the month maybe.

Makes me recall one year when a new friend got the hots to plant things in early March because the weather was just fantastic. I cautioned him but it did no good. He reminded me that after all, it had been extremely warm and sunny for a week already so spring was here. The following week (actually a couple days) later, we got 8" of snow and it turned wickedly cold and stayed that way for a week. So much for his planting. He even made a hotbed and put some plants in it. Set it by his barn on the south side so it would be the warmest and in full sun. Did no good as everything froze.
