And beings as how you are shopping for things, how about this deal? You could maybe gut this thing and use it for hauling firewood.

I saw an add on CL yesterday, guy had been posting in the fall, and I'm amazed that nobody took him up on it.

10-12 cords of wood in log length for $1500.00

Wood was left by the company that cleared the powerlines last summer. You can see the lines in the background behind the pile of maybe 5 cords worth of logs, some of which are hollow though.

I think some of those people up there in Washington need to come in out of the rain. Their brain is becoming water logged.

They didn't legalize some of that wacky tobacky up there did they.

Well you know what they say. There is a nut job born every minute.

If you post it, they will buy.

The Billerica round man is having a sale this weekend, down to 50$/ pickup load. Goes to show he will negotiate.

Just starting to get the rain back after a bit of cold weather.although I agree ive seen nicer trees or stuff to cut from and the majority of it was free.

Only real time I bought any wood last year was about $100 in apple already cut and split. Then like a week later some apple turned up for free which was pretty rotten for the most part. But still worth having! Now I realize that Ive got more wood coming out of my ears and A**, I need to get rid of some for the sake of my yard and tend to some some kind of organization to it. Might end up moving about 4 cord if I can help it.

You’re probably thinking “what’s Fatboy smoking over there to think he needs to move his wood?!” Truth is I’m not, I’m just hoarder who needs to get a grip!

I haven't read the text. I saw he said new delivery, looked like white oak. Maybe later this summer, I'm not far enough ahead to be processing oak right now. Maybe later this year.

That's what I'm on the look out for! I have a smallish one in the woods to cut up. It's kinda a pita to get to, so I'm not looking forward to that one. Need to get it before the vegatation grows in and I can't see it.
