I used to use rutland stove gasket cement, but have switched, like most,to hi temp silicone, easier to use, easier to clean up next time

Heat wave!Up to 0! mBeen busy, lots of snow plowing, helping neighbors with broke plow trucks, had backhoe out 3 times to open up poor plowing neighbors.Yes I charge.Having another 0 to -20 spell.Cat is pizzed!Doesn't like the cold.Ran both pellet stoves, for 4 days/nites.Neighbor came by,commented I had it toasty, running both stoves, asked me why,I replied "cause I can!"When I got -15 with 40 mph wind, the old integra is the cats meow, will keep it forever.Still burning that ton of purcells I had stacked in living/kitchen room, about 4-5 days left, then will have to hit the oakies. The newer neighbors are freaked by all the snow, lol, just a normal winter to me,but, haven't had one in probably 6-8 years.Put a 10"x4' shelf at bedroom window(I have double windows,so no ledge when inside one is shut),for cat, padded and covered it,had to put it on chains,so I can lower it to remake bed,and to shut curtains on full moons.Cat loves it.So,I put 3 staggered shelves,on wall, above my bed,top one prob 9 ft high, padded and covered the top one.But I will have you know,my cat is not spoiled!

I love your projects,I am an astro boy.I have 3,a 94 with studded tires, rear locker,hi/lo transfer case,my winter van,a 96 awd stock,my summer van,a 99(or 2000) blown motor, and a new gm crate engine for it,for retirement travel van.Yes,I was a mechanic.Your conversions are interesting.Used to be 2 weasels up here, they always had trouble throwing the tracks, unlike the Thikols I worked on,back east, but probably easier for the conversions.Weasels seemed good for more flatland stuff, didn't seem to like the sidehills,up here.But,4 of my neighbors run utv's with tracks, they are just noisy uncomfortable vibrating crap, they think they are great, lol. If I win the lottery,I will copy your build, would not put 100 miles a year on it,but would be so much fun!Best wishes.

Heavy ground fog didn't burn off until about 1 PM, It started to warm up then, but didn't reach the predicted highs we were all waiting on. Forecast for the rest of the week is rain, snow, and cold. The closer you are the the coast, the more issues with ground fog.

Toasty warm today think the stove may have come a few times in the morning but sitting idle now and probably until later tonight. Vermonts in the hopper and I am thinking I am gonna like these a'lot which only adds to my mental life as I am trying to decide on what I will be stocking for pellets this spring. One thing though is I don't think the price changes for spring with the Vermonts so it will be do I spend extra $40 a ton for the Vermont's X 10 $400 ? Maybe will see how they perform .

Same here this morning. I dont know when it burned off at home but I went out at lunchtime at work and holy crap was it beautiful out at 74 degrees !
Came home and it has dropped to mid 60's with wind picking up with the cold front on the way. Still have sn*w cover here as well but much less depth :)

Hi temp I saw today was 59. Called in sick to work today to start using up my sick time before I retire, so high temps might have occurred during my afternoon snooze.
