Yes... but keep in mind, the gasket is doing the sealing.. not the silicone...
so apply a small amount and not on the whole thing (in my opinion.)
You just want to hold the gasket from falling off every time you open the door...

Cracked and lost a tooth 4 years ago so decided to get an implant. A year and :emptywallet:later all was done (took 2 years to pay it off at zero interest rate) . 98% success rate and they say I wont have to worry about that tooth again.

Guess where I fall in the percentage area....WTF

After issues on Christmas Eve with the crown and abutment (post that screws into the implant and holds the crown), dentist office calls 2 weeks ago and says the surgeon wants to look at the implant. I figured it was more of xray and consult but I knew I was in trouble when they came in with 2 covered trays . In comes the doc and he says he needs to numb me up. I ask why and he says he needs to pull the gums back and "look at the implant" :jaw:

Didnt feel a thing as he did what he had to do. He found the implant ois structurally fine but there appears to be an issue with the upper inner threads of the implant. There is a lower set of threads as a fail-safe so we are trying to do this without have to replace. But he did have to do a bone graft while checking and cleaning the area.

Hope this works without having to remove and replace-at least it is all warranty and not costing me anything (monetarily that is). I dont even want to think about what it takes to remove something screwed into the jawbone and is now fused to it. :faint:
