Right now its 45...I’m chasing chills. The fire died down last night, I put a small split in before heading to bed. Can’t say that didn’t help but I didn’t wanna cook either.

OAT 22 inside 80 ish. Burning dry mix, 4 inches of snow overnight. Too icy underneath to go cut, beautiful outside

I want to do that too. Was going to head out with saw yesterday before other things happened to keep me out... Today, I have to go to a meeting soon... Maybe Monday.

Big meeting this afternoon at town hall. They want to "educate" us on why we should allow weed into the township... Not looking forward to this one.

Its a hot topic for sure. As youre likely aware Canada is set to legalize it this summer. It solves some problems and creates others.

Well, being on the township board, it gets interesting. Sadly, the State is not helping on this, they are only confusing things and keep changing the rules and freely state they will keep on changing them.

Currently looking at -14 C feels -22 C, or 6 F feels -7 F. Overcast and somewhat dreary. Poplar in the stove.

Yeah that wont help things Im sure. It would be beneficial if you had some guidelines to assist you. Hopefully cool heads will prevail and you guys will have a constructive meeting.

-9c/16f here right now with a snow fall warning in place today along with dropping temps. We should hit around -22c/-8f over the next day or two as arctic air drops into our area and clashes with snow from the west. Pine in the stove right now. We are in an area that often sees higher snowfall amounts.

Heavy snowfall for the Southern Interior and Kootenays.

A strong Pacific low pressure system will move eastward across northern Washington State today. Snow is forecast to begin early this morning and ease tonight. In addition, strong winds and areas of blowing snow are expected with the low. Total snowfall accumulations for the valleys will range between 10 to 20 cm with locally higher amounts, while the high elevation highway passes can expect 20 to 30 cm.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

Well one statistic that is that there has been no significant raise in those who imbibe. This means that in Washington alone, the fact that marijuana is being sold at private places is being controlled well that people are not allowing underages to obtain it. It’s an effective system. Go home, have a smoke and stay there. Police need to have a lenient system if this is to go in effect. Pull the reins too hard and that horse’ll buck. Hopefully it works out peaceful. Definitely a heated topic as Sean says.

Erie has been nearly froze over resulting in very little snow the last month:thumbs:
    28 now
Next weeks forecast is all above freezing so the no snow event may come to an end with the thawing of lake ice.
My wood usage is way off again for a 3rd year in row.
    We'll see what March brings.

No such thing here. I'm just south of lake Superior for the weekend and there's no snow from Eau Claire to just about Madison. Snow here is crunchy... not great for skiing but the snowmobile doesn't care.

Well, it went okay but perhaps mostly because I kept my mouth shut. Only one thing I chimed in on and that is when some idiot started slamming the board members for not showing up (I was the only one.) But, if the board members did show up that would have made it a government meeting and we did not want that for sure. Besides, almost everything that was said at this meeting has already been said at the board meetings.

Other than that, there were a lot of half-truths stated and some that were totally untrue, but I did refrain lest it become a pizzing match.
