We get that kind of weather sometimes. We can lose 20c from morning to dinner time as cold air marches in. You should get out there and mow the lawn before it hits. ;)

Not the best of pics, have not split and stacked it yet. It's about 16ft long and 4 ft high not bad for a short bed ranger haha. I have 4ish cords of Fir and Maple in the back 3 stacks to deal with first. When spring rolls around I can consolidate those 2 bays to one and then fill the other 2 with the doug and maple. 20180214_084840.jpg 20180213_151355.jpg

A fantastically beautiful day here. Been out giving the tractor a little workout and warm-up. Moved a little wood to the porch. Enjoyed the time outside and will be going back out very soon. Temperature just reached 40 degrees and it is sunny too!!!! Think Spring! Bring on some more warm and sunny days.

We had a nice day here, too, it got to 47° or so and sunny. Splitting in a t-shirt in February, can't beat that! I have more stamina, too, since I started splitting last week.

Currently 39.6 °F @ 10 to 4pm. Getting much needed rain at the moment. If you boys up north want to send any snow my way I'll do my best to push the Arizona sunshine in your direction. Oh, burning more walnut.

We got snow last week. Almost 50F here today and warm again tomorrow. Will lose some snow and settle the rest. It was pretty dry fluffy snow.

HAHAHA! Well back in it’s heyday...
I had an ‘86. Oh we loaded that thing up big time. Not with wood no...soda pop! I forget how many cases but an 86 king cab ranger with full bed filled up with costco flat cases for a school district county clean up organization was riding just a bit higher than yours was there! Haha but Ive hauled a 3/4 cord of black locust in a trailer too. Quite a ride.

I wanted something that I didn't have to worry about the top flying away and looks half way presentable in my backyard. I am far from a carpenter but it turned out better then expected. time to clean up all of the mess back there lay down some pavers for a path and reseed the yard and build a new fire pit. I want to build a gazebo with a fire pit in the middle but that might be pushing it with my abilities haha. It can be challenge to have fires in the northwest come fall time with all the rain that just never stops. Took 3 panels of a dog kennel and put the 6ft sheets of metal roofing on the top to stay dry for a fire. My friend is like we can't have a fire tonight its pizzing out and I was like hold my beer I got something that will work. He was like damm you always come up with something. Nothing better then relaxing by a big fire with a beer & listening to music rain or shine:dex:

Gonna' be near 60 F here today, I've turned the owb way down and tossing in a few sticks of Ash, limb wood to knock the cool-ish dampness down.
Back and front door screens are open to get some fresh air rolling thru the house for a few minutes.
Too soft and muddy to get into the woodlots, gonna' try and get my splitter into the welding shop for some work.

mild temps here...40s into 50s but windy today. Planning on just loading up cotton wood when I get home. The huge splits I have are seasoned for years and will keep a long fire, but obviously pretty low heat. Perfect for the upcoming week or so.
