    OK… all you guys who chipped in for a snow making machine here in Maine, cause I had you suffer thru all my "I love snow" posts all winter… I give! Here is Spring in Maine… ! Woo Hoo… o_O

    Weather guy just said south Paris (couple towns over) just reported 14"… that same weather guy said we could expect maybe 2"-4" yesterday. Wonder if he'll get the "history" right…

    :bug:That sucks man this seems like the winter that wont end I too am tired of it but ever so thankful we dont have the snow to deal with stay warm until spring actually shows up:firepit:

    I have a friend in So. Paris, she's always telling me that their springs are usually short. Most times going from winter straight to summer.

    Nice weather eh? lol I camp at Papoose Pond every year which is near you.. Been going there about 20 years now..

    Did you get snow about a week ago? My folks got around 16-18".

    Spring is generally April-May here. Usually mid June before I have to cut the lawn.

    Yeah, but not as much as up north. After this last dump, it's unreal how much base there is right now down in the woods. I've found that silver lining for me anyway… I still have the heaviest oak logs to get up and when the snow pack is hard, I try to speed up the times a little by just skidding them up. That wasn't working after 3 logs last time (digging in), and I was putting off using the nose sled and skis, just because of the extra time.

    Well, this snow means I have to just slow down and enjoy the time instead of making the time shorter… duh… :loco: :crazy::D

    No but I do have relatives up there.. Terrible with the family tree thing.. My family also is this forum ;)
