She don't wear a bee suit, to hot even if naked underneath.

Don't tell her I said so but she is really a keeper.

I started working on our farm as a kid. Then in 1977 (I was 14 at the time) I traveled to Stillwater, Ok to go to horseshoeing school. I also odd jobbed working at the livestock sale barn on Wed. nights. Then after HS I managed a Standardbred brood mare farm. Then as my dad said it would happen, "my brain got stronger than my back" and I went to college. Have been an Agriculture Education Instructor since 1986.

Bought our little farm in '92 and raise some freezer beef and pork. Raised two wonderful daughters and now host fun days for the five grandkids and keep their 4H livestock and ponies here.

I'm a systems analyst / industrial engineer for a large retailer. I work in supply chain designing/building/testing all kinds systems/conveyors/robots/etc. I used to do mostly software but have been doing a lot of hardware and controls work over the past year.

This involves a lot of travel to different sites across the country for installations and upgrades and other project work. Most days I feel like I'm on clean-up duty fixing other people's mistakes or making sure they do their job.

I got into the field of electronics back in the army. worked for a Motorola service shop for a few years then got into broadcast, TV and FM. I survived the transition from analog TV to digital TV. Retired now and I don't want anything to do with electronics. Chainsaws and splitters are more funner:saw::axe::stacker::MM:

My day job is writing windows-based application software for a major CNC plate cutting machine manufacturer; 14 years on the job.

In the evenings, I basically obsess about everything wood. Managing my 14 acres; cutting trees down, and then back up into firewood and lumber, and then a couple years later, building furniture and other goodies out of said lumber.

Every once in a while I’ll get a tech or operator that complains about how chitty their job/day/marriage/week is and I’ll tell them, “we’re all in this together and nobody makes it out alive...”

Wearing gloves when handling bees just makes you clumsy. When you do it bare handed you tend to watch where you put your hands so you don't squish a bee.

Bees only sting once, then they die, unlike wasps and hornets. So, they make their one sting count, or they don't sting at all.

33 years in education, 24 years full time. Worked my way through college in a juvenile detention facility. Taught History, coached football, basketball, and track. Was an athletic director for 12 years, and have been a junior high principal for 9 years. 4 years until a penalty free retirement-could go in July but 4 more years sees my pension increase about 50%.

Oh yeah, my main goal for re-election was to get a fith year in at my present rate of pay. Then hit 74% of salary. Kind of like Lt. Dan sending a letter to Forrest say we don't have to worry about money no more. Which is Good. One less thing.

I dont feel remorseful. with my childhood I can "out poor" the best of them.
