This morning was one of those rare and beautiful winter mornings. Calm wind made it nice. Temperature at 3 degrees felt wonderful. Some hoar frost in places but did not seem to be all over. Sun shinning brightly. Great to be winter on these type days.

Youve got to love a sunny winters day yooperdave and Backwoods Savage. I think my area might have had more cloudy days this winter than normal because Im sure loving the sun when it comes out, even if it is cold. Its very therapeutic and who doesn't love a dose of vitamin D!

Got to -11f last night took alot of slabs. Even the husky is just as excited about fresh chip bedding as food . Even he don't like that wind at subzero. It was raw last night 7mph ..but it had a bite. Felt like -25f
It's now 9f and stove need more oak slabs.

How many pounds ($$$) for a split cord of cherry? Egad. Do you even use 'cord' for your measurements?

15 degrees with a real feel of 19 degrees. Burning some silver maple and black locust and a mystery piece that is great. Stove top is 550 and chimney temp is 600. Nice 72 inside the house.
