    Dish soap...down the drain.
    I'm not surprised that is ruined the waterproofing on your gloves...its pretty good at removing grease/oil...and the waterproofing was probably petroleum based.
    One thing soap wise that is a real problem is phosphates...that crap never goes away...literally...research it. Don't use phosphate based soaps if you can help it. Of course that is only one small source of phosphorous in the water...

    Yep, I work maintenance for the city...dunno 'bout up there, but we have new lower limits a couple years back...cost them an extra $75-100k per year to treat down to these new limits now...

    Alum and Poly is a boatload of cash for sure eh brenndatomu. They started last year on a $90 million upgrade at our plant and its gonna be busy for another 3 years.:whistle:
