You know the log round that was polished to a seat went around for discussion last year right? Selling for some $75-100...

Well...I would have put this in the thread but I forgot which one and this just deserves a thread of its own. If these really sell, I’m open for another side job. 6C186F14-E174-47F8-B26F-F1E880642A88.png

If you read the fine text it says these logs have been “dried, cleaned and preserved”...heh preserved?

Now that "Artisanal Firewood" video is funny stuff. Looks like it should have been on Saturday Night Live.

I wonder how much the kindling cost?
They were true gentlmen to hand wrap and load it into her SUV for her.
Now that's the kind of customer service that promotes repeat business.

Never ceases to amaze me of what people will buy.
When I walk into my grocery store, there are some Birch rounds that are scored about six times on the end of the round. I know there is a name for these things, but can't think of it. $11.99 per 10" round.
Wish I had some birch to cut and make these. I would sell them at 1/2 the price and be elated.
There you go bogydave You have a lot of Birch up there. Maybe ship some of your birch to the lower 48.

There's a guy on rt 9 out here who has had a sign up for years advertising firewood for sale with a phone number. I dive by three other day and noticed that he has stenciled in "organic" to the sign and just about hit the guardrail I was laughing so hard. Well played Mr rt 9 firewood man!

You'd make more selling your unmade bed:

Tracey Emin's My Bed – a minutely detailed reconstruction of the double divan in which the artist claimed to have spent a long, depressive period following a break-up – will go on sale by auctioneers Christie's this summer, at an estimated price of between £800,000 and £1.2m.

This came from the hills of West Virginia. It spent some time at a family members house in Virginia before I got it. It has sentimental value for me but I wouldn’t spent $250 for a new one.
