    Thanks Tom. I was thinking I was gonna get past everyone else's cold . But that last cold day I was gulping enough cold air that it knocked me down enough. The bug took hold .

    An Alaskan friend of mine gave me a tip years ago.. Thumb tacks in soles of shoes works pretty good plus its cheap.

    Woke up to -20. What the heck? Guessers had said -3! Don't know what the real feel was, but couldn't have been much lower since it was only a light breeze.

    No snow overnight, good! No shoveling!

    Finishing up a mini load of birch before loading a full load of ash & birch for the overnight.

    44f a few small rounds of pine and some oak. Small load to warm stove back up. Last load was about 11pm yesterday.

    Warmed up to 6 below today. Lowest this morning was -30 here at the cabin. White spruce and poplar in the stove. Currently -12.and the sun is set. But its still light out. Long twilight!! Me likey!! Blue sky!
