(No, not related to the weekly cigar, either. Way too many years of acid stress tension idiots and the like)

campinspecter takes good care of you, for sure!

Went for 1 1/2 "forced march" this morning. As long as you kept moving, it was alright. My back and legs are paying for it now, though.

Some birds are back again and the woods were starting to wake up with an occasional chirp here and there.

This will sound strange but your acid reflux issue. Is do good bacteria in your gut. I dealt with this stuff. Look in to restoring good bacteria. Yogurt taste like crap. But they have little bio drinks in Walmart dairy.
Loaded with acidophilus. Take them for about a month. Antibiotics kill off all your good bacteria. I can even eat onions in the morning now. Yes all my greasy favorites.

Doctors just keep giving you the reflux medication. I dealt with all this for a year before I figured it out. Just a tip.

I still have them on and off. My best guess on why this happens is guys eat more meat and there's probably antibiotics from the cows.

In my case I was not getting/didn't have enough digestive enzymes. A nutritionist explained it this way; to digest your food, your stomach needs acid, saliva, beneficial bacteria and digestive enzymes. The food won't leave the stomach until it is broken down to a certain level. Because I lacked the enzymes necessary, the food stayed there and the body kept pumping more acid in. I eat lots of yoghurt, but that isn't enzymes. So, once I started the enzyme supplements everything came back to balance and I have nearly no trouble, but take it easy on coffee and quit soda all together. I've been on them about 3 months. As usual I found all this out, WITHOUT any help from my VA doctor.

Tell me about these enzymes. I hate taking meds and stopping them is fine with me.

-10c/14f right now and I just loaded an overnight load of larch. Im watching on TV the kiltchners deal with a chimney fire..... My 12 year old son went snowboarding today with the school. I got a text early today saying that because his partner stayed home ( my son thinks it was a case of xboxitis) that he wouldnt be able to snowboard after the lessons since they have to board/ski in pairs. I had a somewhat free afternoon so thought I would rescue my son and head up the mountain. I had a look at the rates and found that with an afternoon ski... plus rentals (I dont do it enough anymore to have the modern ski gear) was going to cost my $140 . Im not a man with much disposable income but I couldnt have my son sit there waiting for my wife or I to come pick him up while his friends were off enjoying the mountain. Anyways he found someone else to pair up with and it worked out fine but the poor guy broke his right upper arm just below the shoulder socket. Hes being a trooper but I joked with him that Im glad I had him shoveling snow and loading the garage with firewood on Sunday. My wife has a bad elbow right now and my son has a broken wing. We get huge snow dumps late winter so its up to me and my 16 year old daughter I guess! Shes very fit so we are up to the task. Sorry for the long post.

-15°F / -26°C tonight. We're in Rick Mercer's Plus One cycle, where the temperature will be plus 1°C in 7 days. Tomorrow, the temperature will be plus 1° in seven days. This guy is a poor comedian, but he makes it this time.
