Needed more wood on the porch and wanted to get it done before the snow comes. Notice our nice lack of snow now! Anyway, we put 2 scoops full on the porch; one of ash and one of oak. Need the oak for the cold nights that are coming up. And yes, I had some help. Then when finished and was about to put the atv away I noticed that I had left the key on and it barely started. Low battery gave me a good excuse to take it for a ride around the woods. Went through a neighbor's woods too. Hopefully that charged the battery back up. Also filled the atv with gas and the tractor with diesel fuel.
Tell her to put on some pants, it's cold outside! How goes the recovery Dennis, is your strength coming back?
Took a second look on the first picture 9152. Sounds like ya had some fun outside today Sav. Calling for a boat load of the white stuff here this week?
Nice work done today Backwoods Savage I see The Ornery One shaking her fist at all of us for telling her to be in anything other than shorts....and smilin’ that sweet Judy smile!
Not yet. Just getting that wood around has me spent. While she was unloading that wood (this was the second load only) I went into the house for the camera. Almost didn't make it up the steps as my legs buckled. I hate this crap...
Nice work! I'd put the ATV on a trickle charger as the magneto won't give the battery that good of a charge if it was that low previously. It's cheap insurance.
This ^ ^ ^ You would need to ride for at least a couple hours to top off the battery...probably longer. A batter charger does a much better job of topping off a low battery than the quads charging system does...especially a quality battery maintainer/float charger.
We're supposed to get around 6", could be more with the lake effect. Who knows. It's snowing really good now.
