I have figured out that if I put the stove on a higher setting, like 7-7, when things are getting colder out, the pellets seem to come into the pot too fast. It does not take too long before the pot clumps up with crusty pellets that are not burned all the way through and then I end up with an overflow. Then less heat, etc.,etc.

Now I have been leaving the stove on 4-4 with this mixture of pellets I am using up and it is doing better. Low burn air set at 5. I did a good cleaning the other day on the stove and horizontal and vertical on exhaust, brushing the chimney for the third time this season as well.

And leaving the ceiling fan on low in the A-Frame ceiling of the camp seems to help keep the heat down and more uniform throughout the entire camp. Learning something new all the time. Have to keep learning.

Bumping the low burn air up to 7 when you run the stove at heat setting 6 or 7 has helped in my case. I also had the excess pellet issue on higher heat setting. And that was with the LFF at 1.

Went to a group meeting with my VietNam combat veteran buddies. Painful getting around, but well worth it. Wife drives the car for now. Went to the Doctors office and stood there. The receptionist didn't want to ruin her day, so she gave me an appointment for Friday Morning. That will be just the beginning.
Rocky's stove shop called and said the heat shields were in. Wife went over and picked them up. I'll try to get them on soon and will post how well they work, and I get a pic of what they look like.

    Savs.

First. Thank you sir, for your service to this great country of ours. It is appreciated.

Second. Is your pain prior injuries or arthritis? Or both?

Third. Hope you can get some relief.

Joined the Navy so I wouldn't have to go to that hell hole. Little did I know I'd spend 3 years underwater spying on the Russians.

    Who said I'm sane?

White lights = day, red lights = night.

Anyone who has ever served grows up awful quick. Went to sea once when I was 21 as the senior torpedoman on board with a torpedo room full of conventional and 8 nuclear weapons. Opens your eyes real quick.

All of you men and women who serve in the armed services deserve more benefits than you are given as far as I am concerned. I know that is not why you did/do it. But I don't know any taxpayers who would complain about giving you anything. Best healthcare, retirement, etc. etc. They need to be improved for all those who serve! And again. Thank you to all you guys and gals who serve(d).

I never served, but have the utmost respect for those who did as this country wouldn't be what it is without the sacrifices countless men and women have made. My dad was in the Navy during the Vietnam era. He was in EOD/underwater demolition and salvage diving, so I'm familiar with the sacrifices that are made by those who wear the uniform.

Thanks to all here who served (and to anyone else who served that may read this).

Thanks you all for your service, My dad was in the Navy and served in Vietnam. All veterans are true heroes. I once got to meet a gentleman that served during World War 2, after talking with that man for a few hours, any problems that you have go away real quick, and you suddenly realize how blessed we are to live in such a free country that these men and woman fought so hard for! My dad passed down a box full of letters that he and his parents exchanged why he was in country. I will cherish them for the rest of my life!
